As someone who grew up in the Central Valley it is always a treat to visit San Luis Obispo county during the summer/fall truly an interesting small pocket of America
I grew up in San Luis obispo in the 80s and I love it so much ...I'm in Arizona right now...I try to go back every year...I miss and love san luis obispo so much
That was beautiful 5 mos ago. Deep green and fresh . It's still beautiful but, brown and hard baked right now. I Love Slo. 🔥Great video.👍 Good dog for not attacking that sandwich..😁
I have lived in San Luis Obispo for a long time I used to go to Cal.poly unv I love the city and the people it has very nice weather and very safe city 👍
Wow. I was last in SLO ten years ago and had a blast enjoying the nearby beaches and farmers market. Thanks for the update and I can’t wait to go back and conquer the awesome hike. Keep up the great work Dylan!

Great episode. Family has a house in pismo so it and Slo are like my second home. Also went to Cal Poly (09-12) and loved every minute of it. Was just there last weekend for a friends bachelorette. Thanks for sharing.
What an awesome sunset. Walking in the dark is wild and puts a whole new perspective on hiking haha I love when you do these videos. Totally down to earth thank you for sharing. Truly appreciated 🤗
Cool, that is a part of California most non US people never heard of ( like me:-). Looks a bit like New Zealand or Ireland. Looking forward to the next episodes!
23👍 East coast dude who used to vacation in SLO here. I miss visiting Firestones. Thanks for bringing me back. Firestone burgers are 10 outta 10. Smell that charcoal. 🍔
Love that area, Visited California 3 times between 2010 and 2015 , from Ottawa Ontario, Canada 😅, always stay in Arroyo Grande , for a night or 2. love Pismo beach , can’t not go to Klondike pizza lol
Ahh love this! Such beautiful hike! You need to come to Scotland and go up into the highlands and along the north coast! Its stunning! (probably a lot colder though). I live above an insane sandwich shop owned by a french lady called Karine in Edinburgh! The fresh french cheeses she imports are something else!
Wow; this place looks amazing!! 🤩🙌 Loved the swing on top of the hill, such a fun idea!! 😊 And I got soooo hungry watching you eat those sandwiches and ice cream! 😋 Looking forward to the next episode! 🤙
I grew up in AG and loved seeing Alan Haiyashi, would of been cool if he told the story of Vard Loomis holding on their farm land while they were placed in the internment camps, hense all the farm families have at least one son named Vard.
Amazing episode! What views! I’ve never been to Cali but this makes me want to go even more 😩🫶🏻 love seeing Booey! Can’t wait to see what’s next! Oh and thanks for the laughs when y’all was in the first spot!! 😅
I used to work for Lemos. Supposedly when Hayashi's dad got sent to the internment camps the Lemos family paid like $5 to buy his farm so the government wouldn't take it when he returned they sold it back to hi for $5....
Love your hikes! Canada did the Japanese internment camps as well. Recently saw a play on the subject called Forgiveness. Also a book by the same name, written by Mark Sakamoto… the grandson. Check it out.
